Hand Punches use three-dimensional hand geometry; there are never any fingerprints or palm prints taken. The Hand Punch analyzes more than 31,000 points and instantaneously records more than 90 separate measurements of an individual's hand including length, width, thickness and surface area. You can be confident that that the person using the device is really who they claim to be.

The Hand Punch is completely template based; each time an employee punches in or out, their template automatically updated. The terminal is perpetually “learning your hand,” thus allowing for changes due to weight gain or loss, aging, etc.\
